Abstract

In this study, a fractional order sliding mode controller (FOSMC) and adaptive fuzzy fractional order sliding mode controller (AFFOSMC) are designed for speed control of the Brushless DC motor and the performance of the controllers have been tested in real time. Experimental studies were performed to compare the performance of the reference tracking and error elimination of both controllers, and the graphs of the results were presented.
