Journal Archiving and Indexing

This journal uses Open Journal Systems (OJS), open source journal management and publishing software developed, supported, and freely distributed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) under the GNU General Public License.

Digital preservation. The published content of the journal is deposited in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a LOCKSS-based Private LOCKSS Network (PLN) that preserves OJS journals. The archival status of the journal (ISSN 3023-4409) can be checked in the Keepers Registry, available through the ISSN Portal, under the keeper "Public Knowledge Project PLN".

OJS supports the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, which is designed to support long-term digital preservation by keeping copies of journal content at multiple locations.

IJAMEC has also enabled the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archiving options in its OJS settings, so that the journal content is made available to these archiving networks (see PKP LOCKSS).
