Abstract

Deformable objects are used in a wide range of fields including medicine and food processing. Deformable objects simulations can be used to investigate many different kinds of objects that that have genuine relevance to the real world. The problem, however, is that for inexperienced novices in computer graphics it can be difficult to represent complex shapes. In this study, we propose a method of handling deformable objects through which a user can easily create such objects using hand-drawn sketches, and that also incorporates haptic interaction.
